Dorothy Jasper age 59
Passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family following an extended illness. Dorothy was born to Raymond and Dorothy (Bull) Petru on May 15, 1964 in Madison, Wisconsin. She was employed as a CNA in the Hospice Industry for many years. She loved to watch the Televison programs such as NCIS, The First 48. Dorothy could often be found doing her favorite past time, dancing. She enjoyed doing scratch off tickets, looking for that winning ticket. She loved spending precious time with her family. She was passionate about her job and loved working with her patients that we entrusted to her care. Dorothy and was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond William Petru and Dorothy Petru; First husband, Daniel Kocian and her second husband Michael Jasper.
Survivors:
daughter: Destiny Kocian of Alice, Tx.
2 sons: Johnathan (Cyan) Kocian of Germany
Christian (Patricia Palacios) Kocian of Alice, Tx.
3 brothers: Randy Meyer of Alice, Tx.
Ronald Petru of Alice, Tx.
Raymond (Norma) Petru of Tennessee
sister-in-law: Kimberly Garcia-Meyer of Alice, Tx.
2 nephews: Zane Meyer, Dalton Petru
niece: Zoee Rodriguez
Visitation will begin on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024 from 10AM until 12 noon, with a Funeral Service to begin at 12 noon in the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel.
Private burial will take place in the Roselawn Cemetery at a later date.

Dorothy is definitely gone too soon. Wish there was something we could say to make things better. Hold onto the memories and good times. Our deepest condolences to the family.
