Dorothy "Dot" Ann Spivey Morris, age 84, of Whiteville, NC passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Dorothy was born on February 15, 1941 in Richmond County, NC, to the late Emmit Franklin Spivey and Lila Agatha Henley Spivey. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters; Lula Frances Alice Spivey, Virginia Dare Spivey, Iris Pauline Spivey, and Rachel Delie Spivey, brother; Clinton Emmit Spivey, and granddaughter; Parker Elisabeth Nance.

Dorothy was a retired Trial Court Administrator with the North Carolina Judicial System. She worked for many years with the Columbus County District Court. She loved to read and work in her yard gardening. Dorothy also loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Michelle Williamson (Robert) of Whiteville, and Gina Stinson (Matt) of Wilmington, granddaughter; Taylor Brooke Williamson and a special caregiver; Page Blankenship.

A memorial service will be announced by the family at a later date.
