Dorsey "Butch" Wheeler

Dorsey "Butch" Wheeler, age 87, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025. He was preceded in death by daughters, Sheryl Wheeler Bullock and Shelia Wheeler Pugh; and brothers, W C. Wheeler, Alonzo Wheeler. Mr. Wheeler is survived by his wife, Jackie Wiley Wheeler of Sugar Hill; daughter, Stacy Wheeler (Joseph) DeFranco; son, Vance (Anna) Wheeler; sons-in-law, Donald Pugh, Mike Bullock; grandchildren, Hannah (Patrick) Lowendick, Heather (Cody) Baker, Hailey (Smith) Floyd, Brett Bullock, Krysten Bullock, Hunter Bullock, Destiny Wheeler, Kalub Wheeler, Christopher Wheeler, Jay Allen Wilson, Mary Solwazi, sisters, Elizabeth Holcomb, Carolyn (HT) Bush, Margie Wheeler; brother, Bobby (Nancy) Wheeler; special niece, Shan (Mario) Quintana; and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Mr. Wheeler was a native of Gwinnett County and operated a Service Station in Buford for many years. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for residential homes. He was a member of Lanier Church of God in Buford. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Dunn and Rev. Vance Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2025.
