Dory Ann Cauffman

Dory Anne Cauffman, age 59, of Burlington, WY, passed away on June 9, 2024. She was born on September 18, 1964, in Worland, WY. Dory was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Dory was a passionate individual who found joy in her family, books, organization, and animals. Her love for horses was unparalleled, and despite facing challenges, she never wavered from her dream of riding.
She shared a beautiful 37-year marriage with her husband and best friend, Ray Cauffman, and together they raised two children, Stetson and Cassandra, and cherished five grandchildren.
As a career librarian at Burlington Schools for 27 years, Dory touched the lives of many students and colleagues with her dedication to education and love for books.
Dory is survived by her husband Ray Cauffman, her children Stetson Cauffman and Cassandra Riel, her siblings and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew.
Services to celebrate Dory's life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the Burlington High School Gym at 10:00 a.m. Followed by a graveside service at the Emblem Cemetery. A lunch reception will be served at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Burlington. Ballard Funeral Home in Cody, WY is assisting with arrangements.
Dory's legacy of love and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
