Memorial services for William Douglas Rawles, 65, of Winnsboro will be 5 pm Monday July 7, 2025, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Winnsboro, with Bro. Jeff Collins officiating, under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home. Doug was born June 14, 1960, in San Antonio, TX to the union of the late Jessie Rawles and the late Helen Miller Rawles, and passed peacefully from this life on June 28, 2025, at his home in Winnsboro. Doug was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, taught RA's; he was also a Gideon and member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. Doug loved being a nurse and helping his patients in the ER at Franklin Medical Center. So many people in this community were touched by his friendship, smile, and sense of humor, but many more were touched by his heart. He loved spending time at the beach and trips on his motorcycle; but most of all he loved his family with his grandchildren holding a special place in his heart. He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Jennifer Rawles. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Patricia Rawles; his son Tristan McNease; his daughter, Marcy Rawles; his two brothers: Robert "Rolo" Rawles and wife Tiffney, and Carl Rawles and wife Michele; his seven grandchildren: Emily, Samantha, and Kaitlyn Shelton, Sophia and Zachary Rawles, and Keirra and Aaron McNease; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
