Doug had a big heart and a quick wit, always finding a way to bring laughter into any situation. His sense of humor and warmth endeared him to many. He is predeceased by his wife, Janel. He is survived by his two children, Nathan and Megan, whom he shared with his former wife, Kasey. He also leaves behind his siblings, Dennis and his wife, Sheryl, Michael, Bernadette, and Christine; his parents, Daniel (predeceased) and Helen; as well as many loving aunts and uncles, including Doris and Pete, Tom and Rose, John and Nancy, and Paul; his nephew Keaghan and niece Sheaden, and his lifelong best friend, Dave.
Doug found happiness in spending time with loved ones, attending rock concerts, fishing, playing drums, and watching movies, always eager to share his favorite picks. Doug's warm smile and playful spirit had a special way of brightening gatherings. His lighthearted humor was able to fill any room with laughs and provide comfort to those around him. He was a great storyteller who kept people entertained. With a natural gift for conversation and charm, he could strike up a conversation with anyone, leaving lasting impressions wherever he went. He was a skilled tradesman, always willing to lend a hand, helping family and friends with home repairs and projects. He will be deeply missed.
