Douglas Brooks Ellison

Douglas Brooks Ellison, age 67, of Hartford, Arkansas, passed from this life on September 7, 2025. He was born on January 20, 1958, in Seminole, Texas, to Lindell and Erma Josephine (Kingery) Ellison.
Douglas was a loving husband, father, and brother. He worked at the part store and was also a cattle rancher. Family was very important to Douglas, and he loved spending time with them. In his free time, he enjoyed restoring old tractors and going on road trips.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Dana Lynne Ellison, his children, Garrett Ellison of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Grant Ellison of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Natalie Ellison of the home; his siblings, Ronald Lynn and wife Vicki of Dayton, Arkansas, Kathy Milam and husband Tom of Greenwood, Arkansas, Margaret McFerran and husband Lloyd of Hartford, Arkansas, and Lindell Bruce and wife Roberta of Van Buren, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lindell and Erma Ellison.
Family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral & Cremation Chapel in Mansfield, Arkansas on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A service for Douglas will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the James Fork Baptist Church in Hartford, Arkansas, with Rev. Mark Griffith officiating.
