Douglas graduated from Garfield Heights High School where he participated in wrestling. He spent over 30 years welcoming riders, with a smile, as a bus driver for RTA. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, taking long bike rides, watching movies and listening to all sorts of music. He was a devoted member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church, where he was in the choir, taught Bible study and was active in all church activities. He loved traveling, visiting family and friends, and enjoyed the role of the dice.
Douglas will be missed dearly by his family. Beloved husband of Laura Range; loving father, Dawn Range O'Brien, Brandon Range, Ashley Range, and Christin Range; cherished grandfather of Benjamin O'Brien and Avery O'Brien; dear brother of Cowan David Range Jr., Thelma Oshin, Benjamin Range, and Phyllis Longino; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
Visitation and funeral ceremony will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. Visitation from 10 am – 12 pm. Service at 12 noon.

Douglas Range was a committed and devoted member at Calvary Hill Missionary Baptist Church and was an integral part of the Courtesy Committee and the Greeters Ministry which later became the Hospitality Ministry. He served as Vice President for many years as well as Assistant to all offices.
