Doyle Tartt Obituary

Doyle passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at his home. He was born on September 8, 1940, in Arkansas and was the son of the late Jimmie Paul Tartt, Sr. and Martha Ellen Pilgrim Tartt.
Doyle was the owner and operator of Doyle Tartt Concrete in Grenada. He was attended Hebron Baptist Church and enjoyed going to gospel singings. He was a long-time member of the Redgrass Hunting Club.
Doyle was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael Tartt; one sister, Jean Tartt; three brothers, James Tartt, Daniel Eugene Tartt, and David Tartt; and his grandmother, Mary B. Byars.
He is survived by one daughter, Shelia Melton of Grenada; two sons, Wayne Procella of Grenada and Ricky Procella of Louisiana; three brothers, Kirl Tartt of Elliott, Donald Tartt of Holcomb, and Jimmie Tartt, Jr. of Calhoun City; nine grandchildren, Miranda Procella, Jennifer Procella, Andrew Jackson, Heather Procella, Daniel Jackson, Tiffany Tartt, Kenneth Procella, Brianna Tartt, and Davin Tartt; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.
Mortimer National Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
