Duane Geronimo Archunde passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and adventure.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Antanacio and Ekilda Jaramillo, and five siblings, who welcomed him into eternal rest.

Duane is survived by his devoted wife, Candace Archunde, and his beloved children: Duane Jr. Jaramillo (Alexandria Jaramillo), Xaaden Jaramillo (Kimberly Jaramillo), Joshua Archunde (Alysha Archunde), Chris Archunde (Alexis Archunde), Sienna Archunde (Benjamin Kahoe), and Dustin Mack (Cynthia Mack). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight siblings with their spouses, who will carry forward his memory with pride and love.

Duane dedicated his career to the renewable energy field, working in solar and wind installation, where he took pride in contributing to a brighter, more sustainable future. Outside of work, he lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed traveling to new places and found joy in the excitement of casino trips, which were often filled with laughter and stories to share. He also took pride in his Native American heritage and found great fulfillment in crafting traditional jewelry and art. Known as a gifted storyteller, Duane held his listeners with bated breath through his tales.

Above all, Duane will be remembered for his devotion as a husband and father, his adventurous spirit, and his warm heart. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory.
