Duane Jewell Claycomb, 46, of Clinton, Missouri passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 7, 2023. He was born September 13, 1976 in Windsor, Mo., the son of Larry Lee Claycomb and Lois Frauline (Coffey) Claycomb.
Duane was an over-the-road truck driver with many many miles racked up over 25 years. Duane was always the funniest guy in the room, and he never forgot a joke.
Surviving are his mother and step-father, Lois Hicks (Everett H. Hicks), rural Clinton, Mo.; three daughters, Laurel Lutz, his granddaughter, Saphira Kioh, and grandson, Rylan Kioh, all of Boonville, Mo., Chelsea Rucker, Warrensburg, Mo., and Destiny Ann Claycomb, Decatur, Indiana; two sons, Lane Rousselle, Owasso, Oklahoma and Dalton Rucker, Holden, Mo., and soon to be grandson, Weston; one brother, Michael Coffey (Delia), Stover, Mo.; one sister, Betty Claycomb, Windsor, Mo.; three step-brothers, Chad Hicks Rosie), Windsor, Mo., Nick Doyle (Sarah), Leonard, Texas, and Chris Doyle (Kyla), Josephine, Tx.; one step-sister, Janice Blank (Charlie), Pilot Grove, Mo.; two half-sisters, Tammy Hall, Sedalia, Mo., and Annette Bauer, Windsor, Mo.; aunt, Carolyn Baker, Windsor, Mo,; long-time friend, Barbie Simmons, Tipton, Mo.; and former partner, Christie Ivans, Decatur, Indiana; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Duane is proceeded in death by his beloved son, Chase Jewel Claycomb; best friend and father Larry Lee Claycomb; Grandparents, Jewell and Doris Claycomb, and Jay and Doris Coffey; step-brother, Tony Doyle; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Duane is finally at peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, whom Duane loved with all his heart. We will all miss him immensely.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Duane at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 15th, 2023 at Farrington Park in Windsor, Missouri, with Pastor Jamie Hargett officiating. A meal with family and friends will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. Condolences may be left online at www.bradleyhadley.com.
