Duane L. Joseph, 51 of Marysville, passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Memorial Hospital of Union County.

Born September 28, 1973 in Toledo, Ohio, one of 2 sons to Jerry & Bonnie (Kerner) Joseph. Duane attended and later graduated from Westerville North High School, and The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's Degree. He would go on and work for Blues Creek Golf Course in Marysville, since 2007 as a Superintendent,

Duane was preceded in death by his mother Bonnie Joseph in 2021, and brother Daniel Joseph in 2006

Left to cherish his memory are his longtime significant other Kim Weatherby; father Jerry, uncle Richard (Kelly) Kerner, niece Kaylee (Corey) Walker; dear friend Les Christman; canine companion Sloopy; numerous other family and friends.

Duane was also Assistant Coach for the Olentangy Berlin High School bowling teams, and had a passion for both bowling and golf. Duane was proud of his family, especially his niece Kaylee, who he had helped raise since the age of 9. He will be missed by all that knew him, for his caring heart and spirit, and his infectious smile.

Friends may call on the Family, Friday, September 26, 2025 from Noon – 2:00 pm at the Snyder Funeral Home, Delaware Chapel, 101 Valleyside Drive, Delaware, Ohio 43015, where services celebrating the significance of Duane's life will take place at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Africa Cemetery at a later date.

The Family asks everyone after the services for Duane to please join them in Marysville at the Blues Creek Golf Course for a memorial gathering for Duane, filled with Food and Golf Activities.

Memorial Contributions in Duane's honor may be directed towards Central Ohio United States Bowling Congress Youth Scholarship, 643 S. Hamilton Road, Columbus 43213.
