Dwayne Causey Hogan departed this life on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the age of 37. He was a resident of Marrero, LA and employed in the construction industry. Dwayne departed this world much too soon, but the love, laughter, and charisma he shared will forever remain. He had a devotion for rescuing animals, he lived with passion and purpose. His presence was a source of comfort, his laughter melody of joy, and his spirit and unshakable force of resilience. He will be missed beyond measure. Beloved son of Colleen Hogan Pinkney and Alphonse Janeau, Sr. Stepson of Milton Pinkney, Sr. Grandson of Eberal Hogan and the late James Hogan, Sr., Andrew and Rebecca Janeau. Loving brother of Tiffany Gooden, Brittany Gooden, Wayne Lewis II, Alphonse Janeau, Jr., James Janeau, and Taurean Pinkney. Devoted uncle of Ah’Jaya, Ah’Janae, Ah’Nyla, and Ah’Tyja Johnson, Alissa, Alonna and Aliana Stanley, Autumn Gooden, Wayne Lewis III, Demetrius Stanley, Demilo Stanley, Demarcus Gooden, and Zion Lewis. Also cherishing his memory and carrying forward the light he brought into their lives are a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
