Dwight "Bubba" G. Crunk, 76, passed away peacefully at home on September 25, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.
He was a beloved husband, brother and friend.
He is survived by the love of his life, wife, Shelia Crunk; sons, Nathan Crunk and Zachary Crunk; sisters, Gayle Jenkins and Donna (JB) Copeland; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by both parents, William G. Crunk and Kathleen Ruby Crunk; and brother, Douglas Crunk.
He dedicated 54 years at Grooms Engines, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and immense knowledge to the remanufacturing engine industry. He had a passion for all of the many racing sports and teams he was involved with, who brought him great joy and fulfillment.
Bubba was known for his big heart and generous, gentle spirit. He was the kind of man who would do anything for anybody, and we all know Bubba knew any and everyone!!
His presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
Rest in Peace My Love....until we meet again.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024, 2-5PM, at Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 5112 Raywood Ln, Nashville, TN 37211.
