Dwight Wulff Obituary

He was born on March 22, 1947, the youngest son of Arthur and Bernice (Dauterman) Wulff. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He was a brother of Robert, Gerald and Marilyn Wulff.
Dwight was a 1965 graduate of Westwood High School, and very much enjoyed keeping in contact with his classmates over the years.
He was a Vietnam War veteran who served in the United States Marine Corp as a Sniper. He completed three tours of duty in Vietnam.
He began his career at Libby Owens Ford Glass in Rossford, Ohio as a crane operator. Dwight graduated from Hobart Institute of Welding in Troy, Ohio. After graduating he had the privilege of traveling all over the United States and Mexico teaching his welding skills to fellow union members. He retired from the Chicago Illinois union hall and settled down in Bourbonnais Illinois.
Dwight had a lifelong passion for hunting and fishing and was a master marks man. He was a hard worker, proud Marine and a good friend.
A public graveside service for Dwight will be held on Wednesday January 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Portage Cemetery. Full military honors will be rendered by Wood County Honor Detail.
Memorial contributions may be given to Make a Wish Foundation.

I knew Dwight for over 23 years and will miss him very much. He loved to grill steaks and I always remember how he loved pineapples. Dwight had a good sense of humor and laughter and I will remember him forever.
