E.J. Vincent, 92, of Orange, died Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Christus Southeast Texas-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on July 10, 1931, to Noemie Hebert Vincent and Otis Vincent, Sr., in Rayne, Louisiana, and was a United States Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Angie Vincent; children, John Vincent and his wife, Jennifer, of Victoria; Karen Llewellyn of Orange; Paula Jeffcote and her husband, Ron, of Spring; Michael Vincent and his partner, Bryan, of Beaumont; Jim Vincent and his wife, Martha, of Cypress; Angie Bonnin and her husband, Tim, of Beaumont; and Steven Vincent and his wife, Katy, of Tomball; twenty-four grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and sister, Nona LeGros of Beaumont.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Otis, Jr., Percy, and Emery Vincent; sisters, Renola Foreman and Marie Hebert; and great-grandson, Aurelius Vincent Ortiz Romo.
E.J. was a faith filled man who loved his wife and all of his family immensely. He was not only loved and adored by his family, but also by everyone who knew him. He was a special blessing on this earth, spreading happiness, joy, love, and laughter with his great big hugs he gave so freely. He truly left this world a better place.
A private family service was held under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A public celebration of Mr. Vincent's life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, New York 10306.
