"Nig" Earl Gabbard II, age 47, of Corbin, Ky passed away Saturday June 8, 2024 at University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Ky.
He was born on March 19, 1977 in Barbourville, Ky to Earl Gabbard and Bonnie Bolton. He worked for Corbin Ice Company and was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife; Patricia Gabbard, of Corbin, Ky., Mother; Bonnie Miller and husband Roy of Woodbine, Ky., two children; Elisha Gabbard Lawson and husband Lloyd, Kateland Gabbard (Trent Bowling) all of Corbin, Ky., grandchildren; Avery Elish Overbay of London, Ky., and Ivy May Nichole Gabbard Bowling of Corbin, Ky., one brother; Bobby Gabbard and wife Shirley of Dekalb, Il, one uncle; Glen Bolton and wife Renee of Woodbine, Ky., a niece; Lisa Gabbard, great niece; Lyla Yarrington and a great nephew; Jonathan Yarrington, a special cousin; Ashley Christensen, and a host of family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his Father; Earl Gabbard, and a special cousin; Earl Ray Harrell.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel, and burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery in Corbin, Ky.
Visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home.
