EARL F. “FRANK” NOWLIN
Earl F. “Frank” Nowlin, 78, Centralia, MO passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Harry S. Truman VA Medical Center in Columbia, MO. He was born May 27, 1947, in Clark, MO, the son of the late Robert F. and Pauline (Hatfield) Nowlin.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons Earl F. “Frank” Nowlin, Jr and his wife Emily of Indianapolis, IN and Eric L. Nowlin and his wife Tonya of St. Louis, MO; one daughter Betsy J. Nowlin of Columbia, MO; one brother Robert Nowlin and his wife Kathryn of Mexico, MO; two sisters Mary Virginia Williams and her husband Dickie of Farber, MO and Betty Cornett and her husband Lindell of Mexico, MO; twelve grandchildren Brantley, DaLaney, Sydney, Tierney, Nora, Adeline, Mac, Belle, Alexis, TeAra, Gavin and Grant; five great grandchildren Tommy, Kaz, Noah, Noelle and Nolan; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, one daughter Melissa D. Nowlin, two brothers David and Harry and two sisters Pearl and Sis preceded him in death.
Frank served his country in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968. He worked at A.B. Chance Co. in Centralia, MO for over 30 years. He enjoyed riding his golf cart, camping, fishing, boating and spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Interment will be in the Centralia City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. till service time on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Missouri Honor Flight, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125, Centralia, MO 65240.
