Earl Kenneth Vance

Earl Kenneth Vance, age 88, a beloved father and friend, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, and went home to be with the Lord. Born on March 27, 1937, in Sadieville, Kentucky, Earl was the son of the late Roy and Pearl Sutton Vance.

Earl was a proud, long-standing member of the American Legion and faithfully served in honoring others by participating in more than 200 military funeral services. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life - fishing, hunting, yard sales, and, most of all, sharing a good story with those around him. Earl's kindness, service, and memorable storytelling will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Earl will be lovingly remembered by his three children, Erik Vance of Georgetown, Joe (Kim) Vance of Georgetown, and April Vance of Georgetown as well as three grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, he proceeded in his passing by his beloved wife, Ann Todd Vance; and four siblings, Joe Clay Vance, Chester Vance, Lucille Ratcliff and Artie Burgess.

A graveside service with Military Rights at Williamstown Veteran Cemetery will be held at a later date.
