A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Earleen Crader Dupuis, 83, of Lake Arthur will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Arthur at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating. Burial will follow in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral home.
Visitation will begin on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Miguez Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. and will close at 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Rosary. It will resume at 8:00 a.m. Monday and close at 9:30 a.m. to go to church.
Mrs. Dupuis was born on February 2, 1941, in Mermentau to Aymar Crader and Bernice Romero Crader. She moved from Mermentau in 1959 and has been a Lake Arthur resident for 65 years.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are two daughters, Barbara Breaux of Lake Arthur, and Connie (Carbert, Jr.) Guidry of Elton; a son, Gerald Dupuis of Baton Rouge; sisters, Carrie Jones, both of Jennings, Viola (Davis) Viator of Welsh; brothers, Randall and Amos Crader, both of Mermentau and Clifford Crader of Birmingham, AL; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry Dupuis; her parents, and sisters, Mildred Newman, Ann Viator and Rosa Breaux.
