It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ed L. Crowder, a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, who departed this life on May 14,2025 at the age of 84. Ed was born on February 02, 1941 in Ripley, TN to the late Leonard and Susie Crowder. ED was a man of boundless love for his family. Throughout his life, he embodied the values of hard work, integrity, and humility. Above all, he cherished his wife, Martha, who was his partner, confidante, and the love of his life. Their bond was a beautiful testament to devotion and partnership, built on decades of shared memories, mutual respect, and deep affection. Together, they built a life rich in love and rooted in family. One of their greatest joys was working side by side in their garden, where they spent countless peaceful hours tending to flowers and vegetables, sharing quiet conversation, laughter, and love. Ed was also a proud father to Eddie and Douglas, whom he guided with patience, strength, and unconditional love. His family was his greatest joy. He is survived by his beloved wife, Martha Crowder, his son, Douglas Crowder, and sister, Fannie Crowder and his two grandchildren. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Ed is preceded in death by his son, Eddie Crowder and his two brothers: James Crowder and Junior Crowder. A service to celebrate Ed's life will be held on Monday, May 19,2025 at 11:00am with the family receiving guest an hour prior for visitation. Burial will follow the service at Mary's Chapel Cemetery.
