Edward Dundon, of Guilford Lake, passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 70 in Alliance, Ohio. Born on June 29, 1955, in Youngstown, Ohio, Edward lived a life marked by dedication, love for his family, and a passion for the great outdoors. A graduate of Boardman High School in 1973, Ed furthered his education at Youngstown State University. He retired from Hickey Metal Fabrication, where he was known for his commitment to excellence in every project he undertook.

Ed was a devoted husband to Billie (Huk) Dundon, whom he married on November 19, 1994. Their life together was filled with love and companionship, and they created lasting memories that will forever be cherished. He is survived by his stepmother Rosemary Dundon, five siblings: Thomas (Marilyn) Dundon of Virginia, Marianne Slater of Boardman, Teresa (Kent) Liebendorfer of East Palestine, Michael (Susan) Dundon of Coppell, Texas, Joseph (Christine) Dundon of Salem, and three step siblings; Lisa Hewitt, Denton (David Taylor) Hewitt and Dominic Sugar. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews: Nelson, Jeff, Jennifer, Alyssa, Julia, several great nieces and nephews and his beloved fur baby Barney. Ed's family will hold a special place in their hearts for the joyful moments they shared with their beloved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Eileen M. (Donnelly) Dundon. Ed's witty, caring and fun personality brought much joy to those around him. He never met a stranger, and could talk to almost everyone with ease.

Ed had a great appreciation for nature, often found enjoying the outdoors through hunting and fishing. These activities brought him peace and fulfillment, allowing him to connect with the world around him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a time of visitation at Brown Funeral Home located at 510 Jennings Ave, Salem, OH 44460 on January 21, 2026. The viewing will take place from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Paul Catholic Church on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
