Ed Pierce Obituary Ed E. Pierce, 78, of Byesville, passed away Monday (April 21, 2025) at his home.
He was born August 23, 1946 in Louisville KY, son of the late Edward E. Pierce and Annabelle (Huntsman) Blair.
Ed was a freelance photographer and videographer. He produced many heartwarming family video tributes for local funeral homes, as well as videos for fire departments and police departments over the years. He was a former dispatcher for the Byesville Police Department as well.
He was a member of the Cambridge Masonic Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Edward Pierce.
Ed is survived by his wife, Melody (Quick) Pierce they were together for thirty years and recently married on July 14, 2023; four sons, Joe Pierce, Jason (Michele) Pierce, Jacob Pierce, and Josh Pierce (Kimberly Ayers) all of Cambridge; two stepchildren, Christopher Neiswonger of Morristown and Cassie (David) Armentrout of Senecaville; a brother, Pete of Reynoldsburg; three sisters, Paulette of Columbus, Carol of Cambridge, and Joann of Marietta; seventeen grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeremy, Joseph, Jessica, Kirsten, Taylor, Kenzie, Justin, Amber, Christopher, Erica, Erin, Addison, Riley, Hunter, James, and Neina; eighteen great-grandchildren; and his three dogs, Quincy McGee, Dinky Do, and Wigglebug.
