Edelmira “Edna” Angulo, a beloved woman to so many, passed away peacefully at her residence in Independence, Missouri, on October 21st 2024, at the age of 76. Edna was born on June 20th, 1948 to Trinidad and Alfonso Flores in Cumuripa, Mexico.
Edna leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness and beautiful memories. She enjoyed passing time at the casino, telling endless stories with family and friends, and dancing her heart out any chance she got. She brought positivity and laughter to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her and will forever be remembered for her selfless nature, always feeding and giving to anyone who walked through her door. She acted as a mother to more kids than just her own and played an important role in the lives of lots.
As we remember Edna let us all cherish the moments we got to experience with her. A good heart has stopped beating, but a heart that has touched the lives of so many can’t help but live on in those it loved. She will be remembered for generations to come.
She is survived by her daughter Veronica Garcia; 6 grandchildren Jose, Michael, Jessica, Alexandra, Erika and Mark; and 14 great grandchildren. Out of 5 siblings she is survived by 2 sisters Sophia Flores and Terrie Evans. She is preceded in death by her parents Trinidad and Alfonso Flores; son Mark Angulo; and 2 siblings sister Yrma Rascon, and brother Manuel Flores.
Edna will be laid to rest with her mother, son and brother at Woodlawn Cemetery on November 25th, 2024.
