Mt. Baird was my landlord, he was so nice,and so sweet. He was the nicest landlords,I had ever had.,he was gentleman and treated people with kindness and respect!!! Landlords,and people like him,are few are far between. I wish he was still around, and that I was still renting from him. Thank you Mr. Baird,you were truly one in a million

Edgar and I go as far back as elementary school. We had not been in touch, but I had the good fortune to have had lunch with him several years ago. My sympathies to Beverly and his entire family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. I wish I could be at the service however tax season just won't allow it. Meade will be there to share the "Langhorne love" we had for Edgar and Beverly and I will be there in spirit. He was a wonderful man and we know you will all miss him greatly. Dear Baird Family—
Edgar was a very special person. I feel so honored to have gotten to know him through his work with the Virginia High School League and the VHSL Foundation. He was so generous and a real supporter and believer in the value of high school athletics and activities. He was also so proud of all of his children and his grandchildren.
