Edith Walton Arbogast, 85 of Hillsboro passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025, at the Pocahontas Center in Marlinton. Born September 30, 1939, in Marlinton and was a daughter of the late Edgar and Opal Dean Walton. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Arbogast, son, Ricky Dulaney, sister, Linda Hise, and a brother, Floyd Walton.
Edith was a Baptist by faith, and a home health aid for the Pocahontas Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Terri Sharp of Hillsboro, and Tammy Westerhausen of Clarksburg, son, Randy Dulaney of Woodrow, four grandchildren, Austin Hutchison, Dustin Hutchison, Faith Edwards, and Jesse Dulaney, three great grandchildren, Oakley Dulaney, Ashdyn Edwards, and Zaylia Edwards, sister, Brenda Burchfield of Marlinton, five brothers, Wilburn Walton and Darrell Walton both of Hillsboro, Dwight Walton of Bath County, Va, Mark Walton of Dunmore, and Imondale Walton of Union, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye with Pastor John Paul Burks officiating. Burial will follow in the Emmanuel Cemetery at Bruffy's Creek.
Visitation will be held from noon on Saturday until time of services.
