Edmond Johnson, 58, a Welder for Delta Wire, died June 3, 2025, at Tupelo North Mississippi Medical Center. Visitation is Tuesday June 10, 2025, 1:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. at Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Funeral services are 11:00 A.M. Wednesday June 11,2025 at Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, Mississippi with burial in the Oakridge Cemetery. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling the arrangements.
Survivors include his sons Derrell Lee & his mother Juanita Lee of Clarksdale, MS, Rico Johnson & his mother Barbara Johnson of Southaven, MS; daughter Tamaria Johnson Williams (Jeremy) of Southaven, MS; brother Johnny Johnson of Auroa, CO; sisters Patricia Dailey of Clarksdale, MS, Ura Dailey of Clarksdale, MS and Elizabeth Johnson McKinney (Ronald) of Chicago, IL; grandchildren London Johnson and Paris Johnson and very special friend Debra Halbert of Clarksdale, MS; special nephew Terence Dailey.
Preceded in death by his parents J.B. Johnson and Edna Lee Gordon Johnson, sisters Bobbie Dailey and Ernestine Simpson.
