Edna Nancy Arquette age 88, went to her heavenly home on November 18, 2025. Edna was born in Standish to the late Theodore and Emma (Krause) Kitzman on February 4, 1937.
She graduated from Standish High School in 1955. She married the love of her life Leo Arquette on December 28, 1955, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Edna was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Standish Hospital Auxiliary.
Edna worked several jobs over the years. She worked at the Deluxe grille, William Clothing Store, Whipple's Photo Studio, and the Arenac County Jail.
Edna could be quite the character, one never knew what she would come up with or what she may say. She loved to play bingo at Sunrise Side Senior Center and at My Health Skilled Nursing Standish. On Sunday's, she would go room to room to get a euchre game going.
Edna is survived by her special niece and caretaker Alice (Dennis) Smith, special friends Mina Pierson and Doug Beechum, her daughter in law Patricia Arquette, granddaughter Lindsey (Joe) Smith, grandson Kenny (Leasha) Arquette, great grandchildren Caleb and Kennedy, many nieces, and nephews. Edna was predeceased by her parents, husband Leo, sons Kenneth and Rodney, brother and sister in laws Otto and Geraldine Kitzman and infant sister Alice, special friend, and roommate Donna Kauffman.
The family would like to thank the staff at My Health Skilled Nursing in Standish and Compassus Hospice for the care Edna received while she was there, they were like family to her.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 24, 2025, at 12 noon from the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Standish Chapel with Pastor Matthew Dent presiding with burial in Woodmere Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday, from 10 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Edna's honor.
