Edna Mae Franklin, 90, of Vonore, widow of Arthur Franklin, passed away 7:54 P.M. Monday, August 25, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. She retired from ALCOA and she was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by sons, Jerry Franklin and Jack Franklin; parents, Luther and Minnie Russell McLemore. Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Larry McCall, Judy White, Robin and Jeff Wilson, Marlene Franklin; sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Elaine Franklin, Richard and Delores Franklin, Paul and Denise Franklin, Brad and Tracy Franklin, Grant and Laura Franklin, Debbie Belcher; 18 grandchildren, 20 plus great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Connie Hamby. Funeral 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Andy Franklin, Rev. Michael McLemore officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Hopewell Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Wednesday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
