Edna Jane Howard, born December 12, 1959, entered the Gates of Heaven on Sunday morning, November 9, 2025, after spending five days in the RMC ICU. A small graveside service will be held to bury her urn at Bethlehem Baptist Church on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with Brother Gregg Thurman officiating.
Edna's life touched so many, and the memories shared with her will be cherished always. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. A devoted wife, sister, aunt, and friend, she was known for her caring nature and unwavering commitment to family and friends. She loved all "her kids," as she affectionately called them, and her presence will be felt forevermore.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny Howard; brother David Clifton (Wendy); nephews Jeremy Clifton (Emily), Mitchell (Corie), Jonathan Wesson, Jason Wesson, and Donald Mayne Jr. (Roxy); nieces Jennifer Knapp (Josh) and Natasha Vinson (Martin); great-nephews Noah, Brantley, Skyler, Leland, Levi, and Joshua Lee; and great-nieces Kyleigh Payton, Allie, and Klara.
She is preceded in death by her father Jerry "Country Boy" Clifton, Mother Helen Carr Clifton, sisters Loretta Wesson and Joanne Mayne, and one son, Caleb Anderson Howard.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Enhabit Home Health and the ICU at RMC for the care and compassion shown to Edna during her time of need.
