In Loving Memory of Eduardo Arenas
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Eduardo Arenas, fondly known to many as Lalo.
Born on February 20, 1944, to Carmen Feixas and Eduardo Arenas. Eduardo was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, partner, and friend who lived a full and vibrant life.
Eduardo peacefully departed this life on June 25, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, his spirit lives on through the many lives he touched. Eduardo's vivacious personality, contagious zest for life, and unmistakable sense of humor will be remembered always.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Eduardo is survived by an adoring family: his loving partner of 16 years, Lourdes Pacheco; his children, Eric and Sandra; his brother, Carlos; his grandsons, Nelson and Christopher; and his precious great-granddaughter, Serena. Becoming a great-grandfather on November 3, 2024 brought him immense joy, a milestone that filled him with pride and deep happiness.
Eduardo had a profound love for Peruvian cuisine, a tribute to his vibrant heritage. He found joy in life's simple pleasures and saw beauty in the everyday. The world was his playground, but the ocean and the beach were his true home.
His passion for music was ever-present. While Latin rhythms coursed through his veins, Johnny Cash held a special place in his heart.
Eduardo's life was a testament to resilience, strength, and boundless love. His memory will forever remain a beacon of light for his family and all who knew him. As we remember him, we celebrate the love he gave, the stories he told, and the joy he brought into every room.
Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit shines on in the hearts of those who loved him.
He will be deeply missed.
A Visitation will be held on July 2, 2025, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, located at 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
