Edward Daniel Obituary
Red was born on August 6, 1947, to Edward and Kathryn Daniel. He proudly served his country as a Vietnam veteran and later dedicated his life to working with his hands, taking great pride in paint and body work. He owned and operated his own paint and body shop, a family business passed down from his father.
Known for his quiet nature and quick wit, Red didn't say much, but when he did, it often brought a smile or laugh - especially with his famous dad jokes. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who rarely missed a game.
Red is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Daniel; daughters Kara Edwards and husband Sha Edwards, Kim Groebner, and granddaughter Jennifer Horton; his sister Penny Freeman and her husband John Freeman; niece Vanessa, and nephews Marshall, Mitchell, and JD.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Kathryn Daniel, his sister Mary Ann Oden and her husband Guy Oden, and his daughter Tonya Daniel.
A celebration of Red's life will be held on November 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rockwall, Texas.
