Ware – Edward G. Dansereau of Ware, departed this world on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Care One at Northampton at the age of 88.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 57 years, Marilyn A. Dansereau of Ware. Edward is also survived by his daughters, Mary Smith and her husband Kevin of Chicopee, Linda Foley and her husband Fred of Irving, TX and sister, Annette Chartier of Ware. He will also be mourned by his many grandchildren. Edward was born in Ware, son of the late Wilbrod and Rose B. (Berthiame) Dansereau on August 11, 1933.
Edward earned his living in maintenance at U-Mass. In his younger days, he enjoyed being in boats and canoes in the ponds in Ware. He also was a devoted father, grandfather and husband
A Funeral Service for Edward will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 11AM in the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. in Ware. Calling hours will be held from 10–11AM prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Ware. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Baystate VNA and hospice 30 Capitol Drive, West Springfield, MA 01089.
