Edward Drouse Obituary

Edward Joseph Drouse Jr.,79 of Avoca, PA passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Born in Taylor, PA, on January 15, 1946, he was the son of the late Edward J. Drouse Sr., and Ruth (Adamitis) Drouse.
After graduating high school, Edward proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked passionately running Drouse Vending and Amusements with his father until 1995. He then worked for the Local Labor's Union, and Bell Mountain Farm as the property manager until his retirement in 2022. In his free time, Edward loved to fish, and was a member of the Scranton Masonic Lodge #209. But the most important thing to him was taking care of his family and spending quality time with them.
In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his infant twin boys and his granddaughter, Tiffany Drouse.
Surviving to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 50 years, Leslie (Gatti) Drouse; daughter Dayna Capwell (Todd Eshelman); sons, Jason Drouse (wife Margaret), James Drouse, and Edward Drouse III; grandchildren, Jordan Capwell, Nathan Drouse, Evelynn Drouse, Aaron Drouse, Cassandra Laplant, Jonathan Drouse, Abigail Drouse and Madilyne Drouse; sisters, Lynn Hahn, Ruth Olmedo, and Patricia Bobola; numerous neices nephews, and great grandchildren. He as well shared a particulary special relationship with his neices "Sweet Pea" Leah Bobola, and Marsley Holderman.
Special thank you to Dr's Pyone Myat Mon, Kristen Liptock and Lauren Nicholls. As well as the nurses and aides with Allied Home Hospice.
Private cremation services have been entrusted to Kniffen O'Malley Leffler & Cremation Services, Avoca.
