Edward Russell Duffin, Jr., 74, of North Chelmsford, MA died Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Tufts Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
He was married to Paula Duffin with whom he would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
Born in Lowell, MA, he was the son of the late Edward Duffin, Sr. and Rita (Beaureguard) Duffin.
He graduated from Chelmsford High School, with the class of 1968.
He retired from Middlesex Corporation after proudly dedicating over 18 years and still worked there three days a week.
He was a communicant and former alter server of St. John the Evangelist Church.
He had a love for animals, especially his dog Lucas. His favorite past times were to work on his Lionel train set, do yard work, and watch the Boston sports teams. He was also a fan of car racing whether it be short track or NASCAR races. He very proudly bowled several 300 games during his bowling career
Besides his wife, He is survived by his daughter Kerri L. Duffin of N. Chelmsford, his sister Patricia and her husband David Conrad of Pepperell, MA, his sister-in-laws Audrey and her husband Richard Hutchison of Lowell, MA, Donna and her husband William Sailisbury of Lowell, MA, Joy Collins of Chelmsford, MA, Julia and her husband Keith Hutchinson of Punta Gorda, FL and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother-in-law George Collins.
