Edward Moya Espinoza

Edward Moya Espinoza, age 57, passed away on January 27, 2025. He was born to the late Fred V. Espinoza and Mary Helen Espinoza in Beeville, TX on December 18, 1967. He was raised in Corpus Christi, TX and graduated from Moody High School in 1989.
Edward enjoyed participation in decisions, shopping and taking road trips. He will always be remembered for his love of laughter, sense of adventure and devotion to his family. He loved Radio Shack, gadgets, all things Harley Davidson (products and memorabilia), music. He was a micro manager and was very resourceful; he participated, along with his brother, Fred Jr. and his sister, Elizabeth, and of course, Mom with most of the important decision to be made for the family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Fred V. Espinoza (+2020), his brother, Fred Espinoza, Jr. (+2022) and his sister, Elizabeth Ruth Espinoza (+2023).
Edward is survived by his mother, Mary Helen (Moya) Espinoza; his aunt, Rosalinda Espinoza and uncles, John Salinas and Joe Moya; and many cousins: Audrey, Richard Rey, Kenneth, Ray, Erik, Clare, Lucy Ray Jr., Johnny, Kimberly, Tati, Michelle, Peter, Emily, Terri, Albert Jr., Joe Jr. Jo Ann, Roman, Melissa, Norman, Leonard, Tracy & Millie.
Visitation will be held at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 5-9pm, with a Rosary that same evening at 6pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Monday, February 3, 2025 at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, with Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are: Joe Edward Moya, Jr., Dalton Moya Brown, Hunter Coy Schaeffer, Josiah Moya, Leonard Moya and Joseph Thomas Moya.
The family would like to thank the Critical Care Unit nurses and doctors at Doctor's Regional Hospital here in Corpus Christi, for their excellent care of Edward while in the hospital; along with thanks also to the nurses and staff in the Intermediate Care Unit IMU.
