Edward (Eddie) Mason Foy, aged 55 years, residing in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023, as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born on June 19, 1967, grew up in the Southfield neighborhood of Columbus, and attended Columbus South High School.
At the age of 42, he married Lisa Ellen Stringer, and went on to have one beautiful child, Jadan Sharee Foy. Eddie lived a full life, often enjoying football to include being a Dallas Cowboy fan. Eddie was a good friend and a good worker, often praised for his hard work by his superiors. Eddie enjoyed helping others, and he was a doting father to his child, training her in various sport activities and teaching her how to handle any situation which may arise in her life.
Preceded in death by mothers Mary Magdalene Glenn and Blanche Stanley-Foy, fathers Norman Bower and Edward Foy, Jr., sisters, Mary Elizabeth Ward and Tamara Bankston, and brother, Robert Hill.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Lisa Ellen Stringer; daughter, Jadan Sharee Foy; Marc Stringer, Kaila Stringer, Wisdom Hunter, Lloyana Hunter, Akea Hunter; brothers, Valentino Otey, Freeman Otey, and Reggie Nichols; sisters, Natacha Otey, Pamelia Glenn, Tanya Elkafrawy, Bernice Wood, Stephanie Foy-Arnold, Rebecca Logan-Johnson, Roberta McCallister, Tiffany Logan, and Sharee Wells; favorite nieces; Michael Logan, favorite nephew; and a host of other relatives and friends.
