On Sunday August 31, 2025, while surrounded by his loved ones, Edward Grimm peacefully passed away at his home in Greenwood.
Mr. Grimm was born on May 12, 1954, in Seaford, DE to the late Alfred and Joyce Grimm.
Edward graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 1972.
After high school Ed worked serval jobs before starting his own business in Construction. He worked at Three Diamonds, Inc. as the Owner and Operator for over 40 years. After retiring from construction, Ed raised chickens for Mountaire for the last 6 years.
He enjoyed raising livestock, riding horses, and spending time with his wife Yvonne.
Mr. Grimm is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Yvonne Grimm. He is also survived by his son Edward Mendez, his stepdaughters, Dale and Carrie Krause, his grandchildren, Charlie and Piper Mendez, Jade Krause, and Wayne Warrington, and his brother, Fred Grimm and his wife Ruth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Alfred Grimm, and his sister, Ann Marie Grimm.
The family will receive visitors at Rogers Hovatter Funeral Home from 7PM to 9PM on Thursday 9/4 and from 10AM to 11AM on Friday 9/5. A funeral service will be held on Friday 9/5 at 11AM.
Interment is Milford Community Cemetery
