Edward Hengy Obituary

Ed "Hick" Hengy, son of Edward and Theresa, brother of John (Jack), and loving husband of Shirley Hengy lived a long and fulfilling life. Edward met Shirley as a young teen and married his only love on June 7th, 1958. The couple were married for 66 years and their love will forever live on. Throughout their marriage they had five beautiful children: John(Jill), Donna (Hugh), Deborah (Edward), Edward (Erin) and Michael (Ann).
Ed will also be remembered for his many accomplishments. He was a dedicated member of his beloved Flatiron softball team, founder of the Flatiron hunting camp, inductee of the North Catholic Wrestling Hall of Fame and won numerous club championships at Indian Springs and White Oaks Golf Club. He was a dedicated member of the Teamsters Union Local 107 for 30 years at Mushroom Transportation, followed by 9 years at Bucks County Youth Center. Edward was a dependable friend and an honorable man, who left his grandchildren with endless memories and countless life lessons. In addition to his loving wife and five children, Edward leaves behind his grandchildren: Hugh, Ryan (Laura), Kelsey, Ashlee, Edward, Alexa, Brooke, Lauren, Alyssa, and Madison; and great grandchildren: Francesca, Ryan, and Auriella.
There will be visitation from 10am to 12pm on Friday, August 30, 2024 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Prayer services to immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward's memory to Alzheimer's Association.

Played a lot of golf with Mr. Hengy at White Oaks County Club one of the nicest man I´ve met in my entire life Rest Easy my friend.
