Edward Jeffers Obituary
Mr. Jeffers was born in Mecklenburg County on March 27, 1953 to the late Rais Ralph and Luvenia Goode Jeffers. He attended Bluestone Senior High School in Skipwith and was a former dump truck driver. Mr. Jeffers enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory two brothers, Fell Jeffers and Rais Jeffers, Jr. both of Boydton, VA; four sisters, Helen J. Jones and Annie J. Martin both of Boydton, VA, Evangelist Evelyn Thorn of Halifax, VA and Loretta Jeffers of Newark, NJ; sister-in-law, Vergie Jeffers; brother-in-law, Dr. Elder Aurelius Thorn, Jr.; his fiancé, Caroline Harris, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Edward Bernard Jeffers will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Calvin Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Bibleway Church of Christ Cemetery, Boydton, VA.
Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
