Edward J. Kuhn Jr
Age 78, of Oscoda, MI passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Tawas City, MI. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 23, 1947 to the late Edward and Julia Kuhn (Wajda). After spending his formative years growing up in Philadelphia, he joined the United State Air Force. Ed retired from Wurtsmith Air Force Base when the base officially closed. He remained in the area and became very involved in the American Legion in Oscoda more than 26 years. Ed served as the Adjutant for the last 16 of those. He was also involved in the Oscoda Community Health Services. Ed was very proud of his time in Russia in 1990-1991 as an inspector for the I.N.F. Treaty. He held an associates degree and retired at Senior Master Sergeant. Ed is survived by his wife Charlotte Kuhn, whom he married in Houston, TX in 1972. He is also survived by his son, Charles "Ed" Kuhn of Prosper, TX and sister Carol Tiano. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his son Daniel W. Kuhn of Colorado. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, September 26, 2025 at the Oscoda American Legion. Rev. Thomas Anderson will officiate. The place of interment will be the Oscoda Sacred Heart Cemetery. You may offer condolences at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
