MCMANUS, Edward, of Delran NJ, passed away on October 22, 2021. He was 82.
Beloved husband of 58 years to Eileen M. McManus (nee Madden). Loving father of Maureen and her husband, Andy Moscarelli, Ed McManus and his wife, Patty, Michael McManus and his wife, Janis and Anne Marie McManus. Devoted grandfather to Andy (Brianna), Meghan and Michael (Emily) Moscarelli, Morgan and Taryn McManus, and Evan and Brenna McManus. Dear brother of Mary Waterman and the late Betty McManus and the late Peggy Ojeda. He is lovingly survived by his nieces and nephews and their families and many dear friends.
Mr. McManus was a graduate of St. Tommy More High School and went on to proudly serve our country in the United States Air Force. He earned his Bachelor's degree at LaSalle University. He spent his working career of nearly 40 years with GE/Lockheed where he retired as a Financial Director, only to continue working as a consultant and finally retiring with L3.
He and his wife started their family in Willingboro where he coached his children's baseball and soccer teams. While coaching his daughter, he proudly took the Willingboro Atoms to the state championships. They moved to Marlton, continued raising their family and Ed continued to coach their teams. Ed and Eileen have resided in Delran for the past 22 years since his first retirement. Mr. McManus was the epitome of a loving husband, father and grandfather. He and his wife were never too far from each other ~ especially in retirement, enjoying trips, country line dancing, playing golf and spending time with family and friends. He was always on the sidelines when his kids were growing up. He helped his children with home projects and lovingly shared his fatherly wisdom with them. He continually supported his grandchildren - cheering them on in all their endeavors and spending countless days making memories together, especially annual summer vacations in Ocean City. He was a lifelong avid Philadelphia Eagles fan; a love he passed on to his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and all those fortunate enough to call him a friend.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday October 29 from 7-9pm at the Bradley Funeral Home 601 Rt. 73 South at Evesham Road, Marlton and Saturday October 30 from 10-11am at Resurrection Parish, Church of the Holy Name 260 Conrow Road, Delran. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11am. Interment to follow at Jesus Bread of Life Cemetery, Mt. Laurel NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ed's memory to Samaritan Hospice 3906 Church Road Mt. Laurel NJ 08054. It was Ed's wish for you to share an act of kindness in his memory and 'pay it forward' as he always did.

Mrs McManus want to offer my sincere condolences to you, Maureen, Eddie, Michael and Ann Marie. My fondest memories of growing up was hanging out at your house as a kid. Mr. McManus was one of the nicest and warmest person I have ever met.
