Edward L. McNicol

Edward Levette McNicol, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on November 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 3, 1952, in Flushing, New York, to Kenneth Robert and Mary K. McNicol. Edward was a talented musician who played with The Weads, The McNicol Brothers and The Rugbys. He also found joy in playing golf and was an avid U of L fan, but above all, he cherished his family and always put them first. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Kenneth Robert Jr., James Campbell, and Stephan William; and his stepfather, Gene Bobzien. Edward is survived by his loving wife, Andrea; his son, Johnny; his brother, Robert; and his nieces and nephews, Elisabeth, Katherine, Jeffrey, Michael, and Billy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. A private Inurnment will take place later at Calvary Cemetery.
