Edward David Muise Sr, age 79, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving partner and family by his side on June 15, 2025 in Sanford Maine, after a courageous battle with Interstitial Lung Disease.
Edward "Edd" was born on December 7, 1945 in Gloucester Massachusetts to his parents Mark Muise and Alice "Gray" Muise. While growing up in Gloucester he loved the outdoors. Edd could always be found outdoors whether it was fishing, digging clams or camping. He was happiest outdoors or on the ocean.
In his later years, he enjoyed going to the casino with Rena and riding his Harley. In his mind, Gloucester was always home to him, even to the end, but he did enjoy living in the south before moving to Sanford Maine. Edd moved south and enjoyed the weather in Florida and visiting friends in South Carolina before residing in Sanford, Maine, where he was greeted by family and friends and met his loving partner with whom he built a wonderful life with the past four years.
Edd is survived by his partner Rena Johnson, a sister Theresa Foster, and children Rhonda Grass, Toni-Ann McGraw with husband Walter, Zachery Muise, Renee Muise and Edward Muise Jr with wife Shannon, along with many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
Edd was predeceased by his parents Mark and Alice Muise along with siblings Mark Muise, Beatrice O'Connor, Nancy Duval, Alice Gagne, Mary Thompson, Mel Muise, Timmy Muise, George Muise and Michael Muise and two children Tracy Muise and Edward Muise.
Celebration of Life to be done at a later date.
