Leo J. Muise

Mr. Leo J Muise, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, October 8th at the Rosewood Nursing Home in Peabody. He was the husband of his late beloved wife, Virginia R. (Lee) Muise with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.
Born and raised in East Boston, he was the son of the late Raymond and Margaret (Frauten) Muise. Leo attended East Boston High school and upon graduating, he enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1952and was a Korean War Veteran. Leo later attended New England School of Photography in Boston. He worked at Filene's in Boston where he met his wife, Virginia. Leo resided in Revere with his family for over 40 years until he moved to Tewksbury, MA.
He was a successful owner of Photography Inc. in Boston for many years. He always enjoyed photographing weddings, sporting events and taking pictures of various family events. In addition to his love of photography, his passions included coaching and playing hockey in Revere for many years, traveling with his wife, and watching Bruins games.
He is survived by his beloved children, Kevin Muise and his wife, Carolyn of Mendon, Mary Muise of Saugus and Steven Muise of Tewksbury; four cherished grandchildren, Brianna, Kevin Jr., Ryan and Nicholas, and one great grandchild, Bentley. He was predeceased by his daughter, Nancy L. Muise and five brothers, James, Kenneth, Victor, Douglas and Earl Muise.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Leo's memory may be made in honor of his daughter, Nancy to the National Brain Tumor Society @ braintumor.org.
SERVICE INFORMATION
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS on Monday from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., Saugus at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
