Craig S. Walker

Craig S. Walker, a 30+ year Saugus resident, was born in Everett, Massachusetts and raised in Chelsea. He passed away at the age of 63 after a lengthy illness at Tufts Medical Center.
He grew up in Chelsea and attended Chelsea High School. He was one of the greatest basketball players in Chelsea High School history. In fact, a day was named in his honor "Craig Walker" Day. He then went on to earn a Criminal Justice degree at the University of Tennessee-Martin where he played basketball and made lifelong friends with his teammates and especially his coach.
Craig loved to drive, working many years at Everett Taxi, DMI Printing, and UBER.
Craig had a passion for cooking and made sure everyone never left hungry. Infamously known for his heart-warming collard greens on Thanksgiving, and the love he poured into his black-eyed eyed peas on New Years. He was a diehard New England sports fan. Also loved fishing and would spend many hours at the "Pound".
Craig's generosity touched everyone who knew him, always willing to help his family, friends and neighbors as well. He will be dearly missed by all and his cat 'Houdini'.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Caggiano and their daughter Erika. He is also survived by his sister Leslie and her husband James Stewart of New Hampshire, brother Bryan Walker of Malden and sister Toni Talbot of Fall River, many nieces and a nephew, aunts and uncles, cousins and extended family. He is predeceased by his parents, James Walker and Diane Talbot and brothers Doyle and Robert "Bob".
