Mr. Edward John Olejnik, Jr. of Milford, PA died Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, NY. He was 66.
He was born March 10, 1959 in Manhattan, NY the son of the late Edward Olejnik, Sr. and the late Stella M. Shiry Olejnik.
Edward married Margaret Bridget Olejnik in 1980 and they were married for 41 years prior to her passing on January 18, 2022.
He was a member of the CWA 1103 Communications Workers of America
A family statement read: Edward Olejnik was a beloved son, brother and father. He worked all his life to help and provide for his family. Even when he was in a lot of pain he still wanted to make the people around him feel better. Everyone that met him have said nothing but nice things, even the people he was an equal opportunity aggravator towards said they will miss him very much. He will be truly missed by everyone that had met him, but everyone can find solace that he is with his parents, the love of his life and his son now. Now Edward only feels peace and is watching over everyone.
Surviving are: Son: Edward John Olejnik, III and his wife Jennifer of Bushkill, PA Son: Nicholas Olejnik of Milford, PA Son: Christopher Olejnik of Milford, PA Sister: Kathy Bergen of Hillsborough, NJ Sister: Sherry Pecoraro of Mahopac, NY 5 Grandchildren: Aidan, Sidney, Emerald, Belladonna and Draco Brother-in-law: Edward Otis Brother-in-law: Philip Otis Sister-in-law: Helena Vlasaty Also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son: Anthony Olejnik
A visitation will be held at GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, INC. 100 East Main Street Port Jervis, NY on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
A blessing service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771
Burial will be at Milford Cemetery, Milford, PA.
