98 of Cranston passed away peacefully Thursday April 11, 2024, with his family by his side. Born in Warren he was the son of the late Vincent and Antionette (Lach) Pagnano. He was the beloved husband of 68 years to Anna (Disano) Pagnano.
Ed proudly served his country in the US Navy, having served in World War II. One of his favorite pastimes was to reminisce about his service to his country and what it was like serving overseas. Upon return from service he then spent his career building submarines as a Machinist at Electric Boat for General Dynamics, in Groton, CT.
Edward especially looked forward to Sunday breakfast with the family, he much enjoyed his cheese omelet and iced coffee. He loved to watch his old TV shows, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, and rest assured he listened to FOX news. Edward's real love was spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Besides his wife he is survived by his daughters Christine Mann and her husband Jeff, Cheryl DeMelo, his sons Eddy Pagnano, and Christopher Pagnano and his wife Amy.
He was the cherished grandfather of Federico, Stephiane, Lauren, John, Michele, Nicholas, Arianna, and Aliyah. He was the loving great grandfather of Federico.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday April 16, 2024, at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston. Visiting hours have kindly been omitted.. Burial will be private.
