Our beloved brother, Edward Lee Perez, passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 35. Edward was born on July 23, 1990. From the moment he entered this world, he was extremely loved and cherished. He found joy in spending time with family and shared a special bond with each of his siblings.
Edward graduated from W.B. Ray High School in 2008. Soon after, he attended STVT where he received his certification in AC & Heating. Later he received his CDL and became a truck driver and traveled all over the country; Edward was very hard-working. He remained in Corpus Christi, TX with his family and friends where he was known for his loving heart, genuine smile, warm spirit, and goofy sense of humor.
In his free time, Edward loved watching anime shows. Most of all, he enjoyed hanging out with family members and being in nature where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an adventurer, often spending peaceful hours embracing life and living it to the fullest. He was known for his playful spirit, and he loved to horse play with family and crack jokes. He was always trying to make people laugh. Edward was always smiling. He will forever be our Big Brother Eddie. The lifestyle our brother lived was truly one of a kind.
Edward is survived by his mother and father, Melissa De Los Santos and Margarito Perez; brother, Leland Perez; sisters, Genevie Rodriguez, Serenity Perez, Haley Perez, Evie Marie Perez, Cecily Perez, Emery Perez, Phoebe Perez, Coleen Fikes, Gabriella Garcia, and Annie De Los Santos; niece, Nelia Rodriguez; and nephews, Damian Rodriguez and Darian Rodriguez, whom will all forever carry the memories we've shared from our childhood together into our everyday life experiences and adventures.
Edward's legacy lives on through numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.
While Edward’s journey in this world has come to a closure, his spirit and the cherished memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him dearly. He will be deeply missed and remembered for his kindness, humor, and his humongous heart that gave all the love in the universe. His memory will continue to live on in our hearts and in every story, smile, and laugh he left behind.
