Edward Robert Pysno ObituaryEdward Robert "Buck" Pysno of Sayreville, peacefully passed away at The Venetian Care and Rehabilitation Center in South Amboy on October 22, 2025, with his loving family at his side. He was 96 years old.
Born in Sayreville to the late Karl and Josephine Pysno, Edward was a proud lifelong resident of the borough, residing throughout his life in the same home where he was born. Shortly after graduating high school, Mr. Pysno enlisted in the US Army, serving in Germany during the Korean War. He had many jobs throughout his career, starting with the infamous Sayre and Fisher Brick Company in Sayreville prior to his military service. After returning from Germany, Edward worked for Hercules, Phelps Dodge in North Brunswick, and SayreTech Chemicals. He was a skilled operator who also enjoyed working on electronics in his spare time. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle who had a strong resolve throughout his life. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents and by his siblings John Pysno, Rose Kaczmarek, Chester Pysno, Frank Pysno, Bernice Kuczynski, Jean Pysno, and Alfred Pysno.
He is survived by his 5 loving nieces and nephews and many grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
